Artist Background
Louise is a graduate of Dublin's Institute of Technology Fine Art Department, qualifying in 1993, and is a painter and printmaker. She has exhibited her work throughout Ireland, most recently at the National Concert Hall and the Original Print Gallery in Dublin, and was awarded the Eva Prize in 1998 and the Douglas Hyde Gold Medal and Arts Council Award for Painting in 2000. Louise's work is in numerous private collections, including the Allied Irish Bank and she is a Trustee of the St. Vincent's Trust Arts Committee. She is a member of the well-known Black Church Printmakers' Studio in Dublin's Temple Bar
