About This Work
This series is concerned with landscape and natural forms and shapes; the way nature impacts on mankind and vice versa; how shapes and colours change when viewed closely through optical instruments or from afar as with weather maps from satellites.

The prints are made by etching lino blocks with caustic soda diluted with water and wall-paper paste. This creates deep cuts and grooves which take the inks and paint to produce excellent colour and shapes when the damp paper is pressed onto the linoplate.
